I am new to this whole process and I can't help but chuckle at the language of everything. Seriously, we "twitter" while we "surf" looking for "blogs" and setting up "feeds" in order to meet "avatars." If I didn't know what all of that meant and I heard my 9 year old using words like that I would have told her to watch her language! What a learning curve ...

See if this sounds any different:

I am a "believer" who has been "redeemed" by the "blood of Christ" and I love the "fellowship" of the "body of Christ."

And I didn't even have to use words like "transfiguration," "propitiation," or "sanctification."

I guess I don't understand why we take simple things like building friendship or knowing Jesus and making them as complex and confusing as possible.

Simple - easy to understand; not elaborate or artificial; unassuming; modest; free of deceit or guile; sincere; unconditional; not grand, not sophisticated, humble.

Simple. I like simple. Sounds like a good sermon series ...
